We made it to Fearless 5 Podcast #25! I’m going to admit, I’m a bit tired this week. The topics didn’t come as easily as they have in the first 20 episodes. But that’s a GREAT thing. It means I can branch out into more life coaching and Reiki topics and not just simply working off the very simple topic of FEAR.
Truth is, living a fearless life is going to take work.
For all of us. For me, right now, that means I am working on Dr. Nicole LePera’s “Future Self Journaling” as part of my re-parenting work. I found her on Instagram @the.holistic.psychologist and her website is yourholisticpsychologist.com. It’s taken me 40 years to realize what a dysfunctional upbringing I had and how to unravel the knots it put into my soul. And yes, it takes a lot of Reiki, yoga, and meditation. So. Much. Journaling. I have some core issues to get through and a plan to do it with… It’s also my second time around with the ultimate, O.G. Re-parenting book by Louise Hay, “You Can Heal Your Life.”
My first time on that journey was around the time the idea for Destiny Architecture was born, which was around 2007-2008 when I really started waking up and getting past the entry-level metaphysical stuff. I was really getting into my hippy woo-woo stuff! It’s funny, I should have gotten into it when I was a teenager, but I got into drugs instead. So teach your kids to buy crystals — they will have no money for drugs! (Saw that in a meme online, LOL).
The reason I am telling you this is to be fearlessly honest with you. I’m a coach, a Reiki Master, and a writer. I’m a teacher and I am guided on a path by energy and intuition. But what I am NOT — and never will be — is your guru. I’m on a healing journey, too. The best coaches and teachers always are! (My last blog and Fearless 5 Podcast #24 talked about the dangers of gurus, so read the blog and don’t get one!)
Don’t be afraid to step forth into your own healing journey.
Mine began with polarity and life coaching sessions so long ago. And books — so many books. Louise Hay, Abraham Hicks… There have been activities too, like the singing I mentioned last week in Fearless 5 Podcast #17.
Healing means we face our fears.
In 2008, it was singing. In 2019, it’s re-parenting. Each step along the way has made me happier and more successful. Yes, in 2013, it meant going to AA and Al-Anon. And somewhere around 2014-2015 — it meant LEAVING those things. Don’t judge it. We should never judge our journeys. We are just ON THEM. It’s OK. All is coming. We’re right on time. We’re on the right path.
Go back to #22: Am I living in faith or fear? I hope you’ve been asking yourself this question all week. I hope you keep asking. Every. Single. Day. Remember, what we do is a practice. There’s no destination. Only a journey we are on that deserves no judgment. Just sit with what comes up. Accept it. And keep learning!
